Therapies — Anger Treatment, a CBT Approach

Anger problems are common and occur across many different diagnoses. Working with anger is often daunting for even experienced clinicians.

Drawing on established cognitive-behavioural practice, principles and research a senior NHS clinician, who specialises in working with the most entrenched client groups in Adult Mental Health, will demonstrate techniques for helping clients to understand, reduce and manage their anger.

During the course of the day the presenters will provide clinical examples, demonstration role-plays and an opportunity to ask questions about problem cases. Previous workshops have been evaluated by delegates as excellent.

This workshop is suitable for clinical psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, counsellors & other mental health professionals.

The presenters are Dr Sara Melly and Dr Louise Birkett-Swan. See our About page for more information on presenters.
